Trustees' Garden Club

Grants Awarded

In October, Trustees’ Garden Club awarded grants to local non-profits whose projects fit one or more of the purposes of Trustees’ Garden Club. Grant recipients for 2017 are:

  • Friends of Sapelo  for their gardening project at Long Tabby complex on Sapelo Island,
  • Bethesda Academyfor their gardening project at the front gate entrance,
  • Savannah Tree Foundation for “Trees are Good”, an educational outreach program to encourage the community to appreciate and protect their trees, and
  • Coastal Center for Developmental Services, for the transition of their MePower Garden to an organic garden.

Our Projects

The Trustees' Garden Club has actively partnered with the city, county other non-profits for civic improvement projects since the 1920s.
